My training are designed to provide a safe space for caregivers to explore and integrate the emotional, cognitive, spiritual and physical, aspects of the dying experience, for themselves as well as their patients. All too often our practices are focused on the “fight for life”, and death is seen as a failure. As this training focuses on an expanded view of death as life’s continuum, caretakers learn to confront their own challenges with the dying process attaining a newfound level of comfort and confidence, reducing stress. This translates to an embodied, authentic relational experience of caregiving for terminally ill patients, their families, and friends. Because the patient and the family take their cues from the caregivers, the lens through which those professionals view this (dying) process sets the tone for everything.
I offer a variety of workshops tailor-made to your organization's needs.
